To honor the late John Lewis we are putting together a different style of protest. We’re coordinating small groups (10-14) at assigned corners to create a protest chain along Macon/Wynnton Rd.

This will be permit free and later in the evening to avoid the heat.

This event is going to work a little differently from previous events. Every attendee will either register online at our website (columbusgaindivisible.org) or you can check in with us in the parking lot at the Columbus Public Library on Macon Rd the 17th at 5:30pm. You will be assigned a color that corresponds to a specific street corner—stretching the length of Wynnton Road—so that together, we create a visible, unified network of peaceful resistance.

We’re organizing to say no to authoritarianism, no to political violence, and no to fascist leadership in America.

Here in Columbus, GA, we’ll be loud, peaceful, strategic—and impossible to ignore.
